Faith on Trial

What are you going to do when your faith has been put on trial? How will you respond? When God tells one anything whether it is mouth to mouth, in a vision, dream, visitation, or however it comes to us we can believe it. Faith in what God says has been put on test every since the Garden of Eden. In Sunday school one Sunday I realized just how much we need to pay attention to what he says, His Word says and how it is said. Most of all we do not like coming or going to Bible Study or Sunday school so we are not students of the Word as we ought to be. I can remember since I was a child that it was a requirement that the whole family went to Sunday school on Sunday mornings. Even throughout my early days of salvation, my husband and I went to Sunday school, Bible Study, YPWW and we took our children also.

Now since they have grown up they don’t want to go to church because of their non committal attitude to come all the way to Christ. They know that God is requiring no less from them than 100% of their lives lived for Him. They also know to come in any other way than right makes them a hypocrite, so what do you do? Say what God says about them and leave it in his hands. Do not dwell there, if you are a believer believe God for their souls, praise God, keep the faith and do not let their unfaithfulness distract you. We have not failed in what God said if you brought them up in the way, taught them the ways of God and given them the opportunity to choose and make God their hearts desire. It is the Devil’s job to make you feel as though you have failed.

We do not serve God by how we feel; it is our duty to serve Him. Our thoughts are; not his thoughts, nor our ways his ways. Who can tell what God will do in their lives? We have to learn to say what God says about them, encourage them in love. Point them always to God and keep looking to God for he is the author and finisher of our faith.

Do not default on God, failing to do something that is required by God by duty, law, or works. When we neglect to give God our all and all because of who does not we are defaulting on our love for God. When we fail to show up for all services called we should feel like something is missing and have a sense of loss. When we fail to complete an assigned task God has given we default God. We have to compete with the enemy on his turf to win this race. God did not win our redemption through Jesus Christ by him going part of the way; Jesus had to finish the work. When he did finish, he declared it to be so and we are reaping the harvest of his finished work on the cross at Calvary that was preordained in Heaven before the foundation of the earth. You can have what you have faith for when you trust God for all.

Do not allow Satan to cause you to forfeit your God ordained purpose with his games played through men that is inadequate of faith and vision from God. There is a shortage of substance of the Word in the lives of many believers today. The sustenance needed in this race is faith, trust, and plainly obedience. The functional capacity of Christians today is not dependent upon God, but rather what a man says. The ball will fall on them because of their lack of faith in God. They would rather believe what a man says rather than suffer a little while doing what God says. God will step in when your whole trust is in Him. We the people of God have a bad habit of coming to God last with our situations. This is the disadvantage man has, Satan goes to God with the sons of God (the angels) and directly challenge God. He has the audacity to use what God has said to us against us. This causes us to operate below our own capacity in life.

We decline in character, structure or function and will return to our former state. We are deteriorating rather than growing spiritually and continue to only speak victorious words but our hearts is far from God.

Beyond all the things in the earth is eternity. We have only scratched the surface of God’s depth in this earth. What determines our boundaries or limits, or even how long we will live on the earth? God is our alpha and omega, our beginning and end, our authority in the earth. He decides if we will be sentenced to life eternal in heaven or hell
