O how I paint the day
The reds so lovely, the shades of grey
Upon the waiting shore they play
Among the rainbow shadows lay
Blues and golds to hold, I may
They flap among the green and say
"Hold me!" and "Make it stay!"
Purple flowers so bright and gay
Yellows bounce along the hay
I smile and laugh as I paint the day.
