For Aunt Bobbie

Songs theme flow in a lullaby ever soft and forever sweet
The sun gleams and loosens rays of light that cast calm
Colors of pale pink engulf the center of our reflection
Water slides slowly in remembrance of days past
I look to the corners of yesterday’s memories
And I smile

The sound of her voice is more like a song…
And hands that touch like soft petals of winds whispers….
Every moment I recall I am affected by
For I am made better and more whole in each instant

Her compassion speaks to those who can hear and those
Who can’t simply feel the presence of her eternal strength
This is truly God’s Child….

Attitudes find no place here, neither can anger or pain
A simple smile and words of praise easily allow those
Thoughts to fade…

I am so pleased and fortunate to know such an incredibly
Loving creature, whose life is permanently imprinted in the hearts
And minds of all that knew her

For those who did not know her…you are on a journey to find
That what makes you whole
That what makes you special
And that which makes your life, a life of purpose
Through her words, she would tell you “You must know Him” in order
To be truly fulfilled….

My Heavenly Father gifted my family with this soft, beautiful creature for
As many days as He could….it was up to us to unwrap the gift
And cherish it for as long as we had

Those who opened the gift I’m sure their heart smiles
Those who did not have the opportunity have a legacy of Love
That expands through the lives of her children
And all that were privileged to be touched, humbled, and
Made whole….by this creature, this soul, this Woman of humility, this Lady of immeasurable will,
This daughter of A King…..
