The spiny fruit of suffering is bitter anathema
to earthly tongues; and yet, if faithfully fed
with good news, old self and water of life
from heaven’s Soul Franchise, it ripens, slowly
and converts experience to sweet fulfilment

Those prepared to invest their minds, endure,
and reap a harvest of unquenchable joy,
even though those fiery thorns remain sharp,
as a prompt, a stumbling-block barrier-to-entry
that confounds the dimness of pride.

See, the truth is a setapart secret, set in spirit,
opened only to those prepared to be scorned
as childlike and foolish in the eyes of the world-
only to those prepared to take up the cross.
Persevere! "Suffer the children to come unto me

In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart
for I have overcome this world"
