Faith
One day I was driving down the street, coming from my grandparents house, among the elegant mansions that line the water on one side and line the the other side of the street as well. As the traffic light commanded me to stop, I stopped near a part of the street where two still-so-young trees grow on each sides of the street; where they touch fingertips above the concrete. As I relaxed there basking in golden waves of warmth and witnessing hazy patches of light as if enchanted, a squrrel approached the right tree. Running up the tree and to the top, my eyes followed as it made a daring jump one tree to the other. What inspiration that even though there was danger below (the cement) the squrrel had the courage and determination. So does our faith need to be. No matter how dark the valley ahead looks....no matter the danger that is trying to stop us from doing the tasks we must accomplish, we must trust the Lord fully and go for it.
