Do you learn something new every day? I believe it's important to grow mentally and spiritually. We can learn a great deal from our experiences, both good and bad. We should come out of everything with new knowledge that helps us to grow in spirit.

Recently I've been struggling with a minor infection that is quite stubborn. I must admit that my own will made it more difficult. I refused to admit I was sick until the symptoms were almost unbearable. Through this experience, I learned to take better care of myself, keep life in balance, and the benefits of prayer. You better believe the next time I feel even a slight twinge of that pain (which is now too familiar), I'll take notice immediately.

Sometimes the lessons aren't that big. They might confirm what you already know. These lessons can be beneficial too. They let us know we're on the right track.

Commit to finding lessons in your experiences and you'll be amazed at how your faith will soar!
