Being Desperate for God!! II Kings 7:3-10
II Kings 7:3-10 The famine was so great in the city that the people were eating their children. Times were very desperate and four leprous men were desperate because they were going to die either way. So they went to the enemy’s camp to see what God had for them. They decided NOT to sit still and die in their situation.
We have to be willing to live outside the box and to ask God for more things to do for Him and for more blessings. We need to go outside the box and have a desperation for what God has. We have to NOT get comfortable in our messy situation. We need to seek God to get out. We need to NOT give up on God cause He love us and has GREAT plans for us. We just need to Seek the Lord in All Things!! We need to stop doing it the way we have always done it. We need to get outside the box and do things God’s way!
God is a Good God and when we get desperate for God, He then uses our desperation to do His Will. God looked down from Heaven and saw the four lepers. God had his Holy Boom Box sounding like great armies coming against the enemy. God chased the enemy out and the four lepers got blessed by all the riches the enemy left behind! In the enemy’s camp, we can still TAKE OVER thru the POWER OF GOD!! We can walk into the enemy’s camp and do the work of Jesus Christ. God will set us up as kings and as leaders. The best comes from God!! We need to be desperate for more of what God has!
Vs9. The four lepers shared and testified to the city of what God had done for them. They shared their God Story. Each on of us has a
God Story. We need to be like the four lepers and share our testimony, our God story with others. When we share our God story, we are being a witness for Jesus. We are being a witness for God.
***God has blessed us and we need to Testify of His Goodness to the World!!!
***God’s Grace Covers Us!!
