6/21/09 Father’s Day Sermon Minister Chris - A Father’s Love
Luke 15:11-32

The prodigal son blew everything he had and was lost. His father took him back with love. God, our Father is always with us and God’s Love is never ending.

A Father’s Love

1) It Disciplines: 90% of teenager problem is with the parents and 10% is the children. Fathers need to discipline in love. Spare the rod and spoil the child! Discipline your children hard and love them twice as hard.

2) It Last Forever: The Father’s love last forever vs. 22. The father gave his son compassion, love and took him back. God loves us unconditionally and forever. We live in a world with things being temporary. But God gives us a love that’s the same yesterday, today and forever….Permanent Love!!

3) It’s the Best: vs. 22 The Father said to bring out the Best robe. God wants and has the Best for us. We can get the Best with God. There’s nothing better than the Father’s Love.

4) It’s Free: The Father’s love is FREE! vs. 29-31 We don’t have to work for God’s love. God’s love is the best and its FREE!! Absolutely Free. God is the Best Father we could ever have!
