Have you ever had a moment
At the preaching of God’s Word
When by the touch of His Spirit
Your heart is strangely stirred
As if life had been imparted
By the revelations heard?

Has there ever been a warming
Impressed deep within your breast,
A joy beyond description,
A special time Heaven-blest
When Light pierces to the marrow,
Your heart raised at its behest?

Then rejoice! You're the companion
Of disciples of The Lord
Who felt their hearts burn within them
When He opened up the Word,
When He explained prophetic truths—
Things they hadn’t understood.

“And they said to one another, ‘Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:32. NKJV.
