Just Trust!
I’m overwhelmed by the insurmountable circumstances of life that trusting in the author of life is not an option that has yet come to mind as I begin to reason in my intellect as to how it is possible to be delivered out of this disheartening circumstance. I hear a quiet still voice whisper in my heart saying ‘Just trust’

Just Trust? I ask
I’m in a trust dilemma as it is and my circumstances are way too overwhelming for me to yield to trust. Caught up in my inability to trust I stop and think but what trust?
The trust that I have been accustomed to in my life is the trust that has the nature of disappointment, the trust that is in man or chariots and horses. The trust that has no blessed assurance attached to it.
The trust that has failed me time and time again.

As I get carried away by the reasons to succumb to mistrust I hear a quiet still voice whisper in my heart yet again saying ‘Just trust’

Just trust in my word
In my word that is faithful and ever true
Just trust in my unfailing love
Just trust in me, I will not let your foot slip
I will make your paths straight
Just trust in me your Sovereign God
Who will perform miracles yet untold
Please don’t put your trust on hold
Just trust! My child! Just trust!
