Victory in the Midst of a Battle

God can give you VICTORY!!
Get out there and fight!
REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE

You are a Child of the King. You belong to the Heavenly Father. He is in charge of your life and knows what you are going through. Even now he sees your need and truly does care about your individual situation. He love you and your are very special to Him.

REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM

You were made I the image of the Father. As a Christian, your “Christ-like” attitudes should reflect His divine nature. So stand tall. God is behind you, with His power and His love.


REALIZE YOUR OWN INEFFICIENCIES

We can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. Alone we are weak and cannot withstand Satan’s blows. Without His help our battle is lost. You cannot withstand Satan’s blows. Without His help, our battle is lost. You cannot win all by yourself. Stand back, stop, and wait for Him to march you forward. Remember HE is in command of your life.

THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S

God can fight for you. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12. Your battle is against Satan. God is your fearless leader. Be strong in Him. Stand beside Him and led God work in His way.

PRAISE HIM FOR THE
VICTORY AHEAD

Have faith that your victory is even now in sight. “Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” II Tim 2:3. With Christ we are more than conquerors.” We are on the winning team. God wants YOU to have faith and praise Him for the victory that is unseen.

Remember the story of Joshua and the battle of Jericho? We all know that story. (Look up Joshua 6)

In verse 2, the Lord told Joshua that he has given Jericho into his hands—not only Jericho, but the King and the men within Jericho. He game orders how to conquer the city, even though it seems like quite an unusual battle plan.

Suppose Joshua had ran out and did it his way and told God, “You expect us to do THAT?” It sounded a little ridiculous perhaps. However, Joshua had no argument.—He did exactly as God commanded.

For six days they marched around the city, carrying the ark of the covenant (God’s Word) and bearing trumpets and horns. On the seventh day the final march, seven times around again was made, and the victory trumpet and rams horns sounded and the shout of the people proclaimed victory and the walls fell flat!

They took with them God’s word and through their faith and obedience VICTORY was won.

Is it possible today? Remember He is just the same yesterday, today and forever! His word is still available for us to carry with us.

Timothy gave us some good advice on our battle:

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” I Timothy 6:12

“Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” II Timothy 2:3

And, when we are finished with our course, we can say as Timothy said in 11 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
