It is another father's day

A day to honor and show special love for fathers

A day to remember how blessed we are to have them

A day to meditate upon the father heart of God



God as father loves us so much He gave His only son for sin

An unfair trade He made, to save us from eternal death

When we hunger He thinks not to dish to us serpents in place of fish

Nor does He embody wickedness to give us stones instead of bread



Oh father you played all sorts of games with me as a growing child

Father you build a shield of protection around me in a world so full of strife and hate

Father you are always ready to give good and solid advice when I was unsure and not so steady

Father thanks, you made provisions through thick and thin; food to eat and clothes to wear, a very broad shoulder to lean on

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY EXCEPT THAT AM GLAD THAT YOU ARE MY DAD
HAVE A HAPPY FATHER'S DAD!
