My daddy made a house a home
not just a place to live but a lovly abode
providing warmth and shelther from cold
He worked hard and is showed
but no complaint was I ever told
never once did I think he had a heavy load
I'm glad i had my daddy home
because osme peoples daddys were rolling stones
he stayed by us, he didn't leave us alone
to this day my daddy is around
his love keeps him tightly bound
and regret can not be found
my daddy made a house a home
