God is sifting his church to see who is going to remain true to worshipping him in truth and in spirit every time damnable heresies are brought into the church body. Did you know that God says that we as members of the body of Christ are to kick out people who do this and not even so much as give them best wishes, Godspeed or tell them to take care? Look at 2 John verse 9-11 and pay close attention to verses 10 and 11:
"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come ANY unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him NOT into your house, neither bid him Godspeed. For he that biddeth him Godspeed IS partaker of his evil deeds."
So, are we clear? Those who bring in doctrine that homosexuality is okay in the born again church should have been kicked out. Those who bring in doctrine of faith and works should have been kicked out. Those who bring in occult/New Age doctrine should have been kicked out. I can go on and on here!
Furthermore, we are to test every spirit. Let's read how from 1 John 4:1-3.
"Beloved, believe NOT EVERY spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets ARE gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is NOT of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even NOW ALREADY is IT in the world."
There is not nearly enough testing going on in the church these days! Anyone is being allowed to just waltz in and spread their vile doctrinal disease. So, fractures in the church are in actuality a GOOD thing! Don't let people fool you. Unity for the sake of unity to be one church entity is NOT a good thing!
The latest vile doctrine being brought into the church...Scientology! As featured on Anderson Cooper's 360 show on CNN recently, Rev. Charles Kennedy, from the Glorious Church of God in Christ (a Pentecostal church) and Rev. James McLaughlin, from the Wayman Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, are using Scientology in their congregations. Here is the web site to read the article:
No matter how much the church breaks apart it will be because no one had the guts to stand up and fight back against these heresies! God is preserving his children through division, which will continue until, well, for who knows how long! We must remain strong in the Word believers, we simply must. Go through the New Testament and read everything the Apostles, Paul and Jude said about false teachings, false Christs and false prophets!
Remember too though, continue to abide in Jesus, in his peace and joy and be encouraged! Our reward awaits us in heaven, eternal rest in Jesus Christ! Amen.
