That winter’s raucous roar
Will be swallowed up
By the gentle whisper of spring
That the sun will arise
On each new day
To warm the earth below
That moon and stars
Will keep their place
In night sky’s firmament
That clouds will go forth
Without end
To seed the earth with rain
That tender bulbs
Buried deep within the ground
Will one day lift their heads in glorious bloom
That trees which stand in winter
Trembling naked in the cold
Will dress in vibrant green again
That God’s love like a candle
Standing tall within our hearts
Burns with an everlasting flame
That every promise in God’s Word
Is absolutely true
In Him we can safely trust
That the sorrows suffered here on earth
Will all be gone forever
In God’s eternity
That loved ones
Who have gone before
Will meet us in joyful reunion
That our Savior’s death and resurrection
Giving meaning for this life
Are the only hope of heaven
