My Heart Can See Thee
My heart can see Thee,
Oh, beautiful One.
My heart can see Thee,
God’s precious Son.
The nails pierced Your hands,
The nail pierced Your feet.
The crown of thorns,
All Heaven did mourn.
Death defeated,
Final answer unfolds.
Risen from the grave!
The end not yet told.

To a skeptic world.

Entered within the veil,
The Lamb sits on His throne.
Hope I now have,
Sure anchor for my soul.

Bringing rest to my heart,

My Saviour Thou art.
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made a high priest forever
