Praying the Principles of God
(Fulfilling our purpose through Jesus Christ our Lord)
Jesus is the King, and we are His ambassadors. An ambassador is sent to a foreign nation to represent the King. We are Christ’s ambassadors sent to represent Him and take care of diplomatic business on His behalf. Colossians 3:17 says,” Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” The power of God’s kingdom is greater than the power of any other kingdom 1 Cor.4:20 NIV
Principle 1 (The World Is His)
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1).
The king owns everything in His domain. The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign for ever and ever (Revelation 11:15b). A kingdom is the sovereign rulership and governing influence of a king over his territory, impacting it with his will, his intent, and his purpose.
The Lord is King for ever and ever; the nations perish from his land (Psalm 10:16).
Principle 2 (Give Strength to All)
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name (1 Chronicles 29:11-13).
When Jesus brought the Kingdom of Heaven to earth, He brought also the promise of restoring to mankind the dominion over the earth that Adam and Eve had lost in Eden.
A king is the ultimate and only source of authority in his kingdom. In the fullness of time, Jesus came to earth and reestablished the Kingdom. Because only a king can establish a kingdom, this act alone reveals that Jesus Christ is the King.
Principle 3 (His Mighty Power)
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).
The Holy Spirit made the whole kingdom available to all who would believe on Jesus. As believes we now have the kingdom in us and through us the Holy Spirit will cause the kingdom to come to earth as it is in heaven.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you (Mathew 6:33).
Principle 4 (God’s Kingdom Shall Stand Forever)
In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever (Daniel 2:44).
His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed (Daniel 7:14c).
God, the King of Heaven, is the King and Lord of All. The King gave man rulership of the earth, not ownership. God’s government, the government of Heaven, is a Kingdom, and God is the King. God created the earth as a place over which to extend His influence, but He intended to do it through mankind.
Principle 5 (Forever)
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing it and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this (Isaiah 9:6-7).
Jesus came to bring the government of God back to earth. The gospel of the Kingdom is good news: a message sent from Daddy to all His children telling them that they can return home to the Kingdom and once again be sons and daughters in their full right. The Kingdom of God on earth is God’s rulership within the hearts and spirits of believers, and the Kingdom of heaven is when that rulership impacts the human earthly environment. Jesus came to restore our position in God’s government—to make us righteous.
Principle 6 (All Generations)
All you have made will praise you, O LORD; your saints will extol you. They will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might so that all men might know your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down (Psalm 145:10-14).
God is absolutely sovereign over all realms of life in the universe. God made man in His image to reign with Him over His earthly kingdom. Jesus came to earth to announce the arrival of this Kingdom and to establish it in people’s hearts through His death and resurrection. To all those who believed in and followed Him, Jesus restored their citizenship rights in the Kingdom of heaven and imparted His Spirit, so that they could represent Him and the government of heaven on earth.
And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me… (Luke 22:29)
Principle 7 (Rescued Us)
Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:12-13).
The Son of God came to get the kingdom back to man. Heaven is a real Kingdom with a real government. The Bible is the expressed will of the King in written form. It is the constitution of His Kingdom. The Kingdom of heaven has laws to protect it and assure that it operates according to God’s intent. Life in the Kingdom is really returning to the governing authority of God in the earth and learning how to live and function in that authority.
Principle 8 (God Is a Consuming Fire)
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:28-29)
The Bible comprises God’s documented thoughts concerning His citizens—His expressed will, desire, and intent for the human race He created in His own image. Jesus told us to pray,”Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
First Corinthians 4:20 says, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” The kingdom of God is in demonstration. God’s kingdom is everlasting. It is eternal.
Principle 9 (More than Conquerors)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. (Romans 8:28-30)
God called us for his purpose. He gave us individual assignments. He equipped us for these assignments by His power. He calls us mighty warriors. God wants the kingdom of God to spread throughout the whole earth. God has chosen His people to bring heaven to earth, and His favor is upon us. God’s kingdom is everlasting.
Principle 10 (Our Purpose)
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” (Genesis 1:26)
Our original purpose was to dominate the earth. Our purpose was to rule and manage the earth. This statement is the key to man’s natural desires, sense of purpose and fulfillment in life. This statement also contains the secret to the transfer of power and authority from God to man, from heaven to earth, and from the unseen to the seen world. The ultimate goal of God the Creator was to colonize earth with heaven and establish it as a visible territory of an invisible world. His purpose was to have His will done and the heaven kingdom come on earth just as it is in heaven.
Principle 11 (The End from the Beginning)
I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make know the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. (Isaiah 46:9b-10)
God’s kingdom is from everlasting to everlasting. Jesus’ mission on earth was to restore the Kingdom rulership of God on earth through mankind. His own life was an example of the Kingdom on earth in action. God’s kingdom (purpose) will stand. Despite Adam and Eve’s fall in the Garden of Eden, God’s desire never changed. He still wanted to rule the earth by manifesting His Kingdom through the Holy Spirit in the lives of people who were committed to Him and sold out to His lordship. God is not interested in having subjects in His Kingdom. He wants only children, royal heirs to the treasures of His domain. God’s Kingdom is founded on eternal principles that will never fade or pass away.
Principle 12 (Blessed Be Your Glorious Name)
Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. (Nehemiah 9:5-6)
God’s purpose is unchanging. He created man for rulership, and so immediately set his plan to restore to man the Kingdom he had lost. The Bible lays out a detailed record of the historical outworking of God’s plan. The Son of God came to get the Kingdom back to man. He came as a human because earth is man’s God-given domain, and only a human has the legal authority to rule directly.
Principle 13 (A Kingdom)
