It's hard to believe that this band has been around now for over
14 years.
P.O.D. is one of the forerunners in the Christian bands crossing over into the mainstream market with their airplay on MTV.
This release from the band is a greatest hits type and features hits from the band's time on the Atlantic Records label.
On it you'll find hits from the bands following previously released CD's:
"The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown"- The band's major label debut, "Satellite", "Matrix Reloaded" - movie soundtrack,
"Testify", "The Warriors EP Vol.2", and "The Passion Of The Christ" compilation CD.
The 17 songs found on this CD were all released between the years of 1999-2006.
The CD also included two unreleased tracks; "Going In Blind" - the band's new single recorded exclusively for this
compilation along with "Here We Go," a session outtake from their "Testify" release.
The band blends elements of rock, hip-hop, and reggae influences to achieve their sound.
If you're a fan of the group you probably have most of the songs that are found on the CD already, but if you'd like to have them all on one CD then this might be a good buy.
If you're just a casual fan of the band or never really listened to their music before then you're in for a real treat with this release.
This band has gone through some changes over the years and at times even had their faith questioned by some but there's no denying the talents of this band and what they've done to help spread Christian Music into new places.
