The Lord is my inspiration
He makes my pen write
To speak of temptations
And fears that I fight
I look for just the right sentence
Saving words become my delight
Ones that reach those who’ve fallen
To give them a guiding light
I write to bring home the weary
From their long dark night
Hoping and praying it can be done
With a few choice words that I write.
