Against female cycles
Against cultural expectation
Against wanting
I am counter called.
You hold me, in contentment
You assure me, in womanhood
You place me, in motherly calling
You settle me, to embrace life
You settle me, in You.
With your nature
With your intention
With our fused desire
I am counter called.

Who is like the Lord our God...He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children.
