Today, let’s dream the impossible dream. Do you remember the song?
One of my favorites!
Man of La Mancha
Music by: Mitch Leigh .
Lyrics by: Joe Darion .
To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe,
to bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go...
To right the unrightable wrong, to love pure and chaste from afar,
to try when your arms are too weary to reach the unreachable star!
This is my quest -- to follow that star no matter how hopeless, no matter how far -- To fight for the right without question or pause, to be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause!
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest that my heart will be peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this that one man, scorned and covered with scars, still strove with his last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable stars!
Will you count the stars tonight? That’s impossible! It sure is! But look at this…
For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37)
He has all the stars named and counted. Psalm 147:4
The hairs on your head are counted! Luke 12:7
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered…
He counts my steps! Job 31:4 Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
God sure is a God to be counted on!
Go ahead count the stars and dream that possible dream!
