Take This Plank From My Eyes
Often times I want to change others
Into what I think they should be
When I’m looking at them
I should be looking at me
There are times when I forget
I’m just one of them
And like every other
I’m guilty of sin
Yahweh, I fall to my knees
And ask of You to please
Take this plank from my eyes
And the stone from my hand
It is not up to me
To sit in judgment of man
Instead of being critical
High mighty and smug
Let me reach out to this world
With unconditional love
It’s not my place in this world
To judge others on what they do
How many times have I forgotten
That judgment belongs to You?
Yahweh, I fall to my knees
And ask of You to please
Take this plank from my eyes
And the stone from my hand
It is not up to me
To sit in judgment of man

Amen and Amen and Amen!!! Let it be unto me also... in Jesus' Name. Because our heart's desire is to be Christlike and to take on the mind of Christ, I firmly believe He will honor this prayer. And again, I say, "Amen!"
