Devotionals
Our identity has changed, we are no longer debtors to the flesh, rather we are led by the Spirit of God Who dwells in us.
" Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. " Romans 8 :12-13 (NJKV)
The Lord invites us to the Spirit filled life where we have no reason to worry, rather we dwell in the love and power of the Lord and are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
There are basically two ways to handle a troublesome situation, either you are afraid and full of fear or you with your given human frailty pray unto the Lord and seek His blessed help.
"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”" Romans 8 :15 (NJKV)
A Spirit filled life is a blessed & powerful life, where all your goodness comes from the Lord God Who alone is the source of all blessedness.
Thus earnestly seek the presence of the Lord and desire all the more to be filled by His Spirit.
God Bless,
Abraham
