Poetry
The Lord will love you and I, in-spite of;
if we can't always do things right
Not in the refrigerator, looking for bad food
but will keep it out of sight
The Lord will love you and I, in-spite of;
if we fail to pass the grade today
Instead accept the good, and wipe out the bad
and show to fix it in a better way
The Lord will still love us, in-spite of;
and that is whether rich or poor,
But man will find something wrong in both
and use that reason to close the door
The Lord will love you and I, in-spite of;
if when the little heart is down,
And when others fail to lift it up again
then God's love it will abound
The Lord surly will love us, in-spite of;
in all our faults and frails,
He looks beyond every one of them
O' his love, always prevails
Many want your bottle heart to stay open
but, close their lids down tight
They will not pour out to others anymore
and boldly say it's in their right
Now don't expect more than you gave;
don't look for your time of fill
It has been said' you'll reap what you sow
so I'd come to swallow that pill
