God because of His grace and mercy, and through the blood of His son Jesus, has given us an opportunity to be joint-heirs of a new covenant, whereby both the Jews and the Gentiles would be partakers with the same privileges of enjoying God's promised blessings, both temporal and future.
We now, are no longer shut out of the covenant of promise, we are no longer strangers, we are no longer confused about who we are, we are no longer roaming to and from, wandering from place to place like a lost child without a home and a family.
We are citizens of a community crowned as royal priests, a community with a common hope that we will come face to face with our Savior who died for us, and came back for us, to take us to our home in glory. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus!
God has made it possible for us all (both Jews and Gentiles) to be partakers together of a new covenant - "Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also…that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel" (Romans 3:29, Ephesians 3:6).
So, although we who by nature were Gentiles having no access to the previous covenant, we now have been brought into a new covenant, a covenant of grace and mercy, where two nations were incorporated and merged into one - "For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us" (Ephesians 2:14), that they may both enjoy all the benefits and blessings together, which God has promised to those who would join in with the community of believers in Christ Jesus.
For this reason, we the people of all nationalities and backgrounds in Christ Jesus, are grateful for having been brought near to God, by the precious and sacred blood of His Son, our passport into the new covenant. A necessary condition for the remission of sins, and the admission of new members into His church. Amen.
