Psalms 91:2 - I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
There might be situations we may have come across of when something unpleasant happens to a person whom we know, we think like, why did such an incident happen to him. We may also think; that person was really better than us, and if that happened to him, what about me? We have to understand that it’s got nothing to do with who is better than whom. All that matters is your faith in His Word and what’s your confession.
David spoke the anointed words “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” This was David’s confession. It has to be our confession too, declaring that “the Lord is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I lean and rely, and in whom, I confidently trust.” Personalize this confession, chew and meditate on this verse, so that it goes deep into you heart.
The Bible says, "You are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth" (Proverbs 6:2). Notice, it didn’t say you’re snared by the devil, or by the wickedness outside. It says you’re snared by the words of your mouth. If your confession is wrong, then things will go wrong because our confessions rule us. Never forget this point, whatever you confess that is what you see in your life.
Hebrews 13:5-6 says...“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say…” Boldly confess what the Word says about you. We have to always keep the word of faith in our mouth. Walk in confidence knowing that God is your refuge and He is your strength. Refuse to fear. No matter what the evil incidents happen around in this world, you got to know that you are divinely protected. Greater is He is that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4).
You are completely shielded from every form of evil in this world because God’s protection is on you. The Lord is the strength of your life. He takes hold of your right hand and says “Do not fear, I will help you.” As you sense His love and presence, you will be strong in Him and in the power of His might! Amen.
GOD’S WORD IS ANOINTED; SPEAK THOSE ANOINTED WORDS FOR YOUR DIVINE PROTECTION. GOD IS YOUR REFUGE!
