Developing the Roadmap of Success
Welcome back 2015 success challenge acceptors. It’s great to be on the keyboard again as I was moved to rest on the seventh day. Day 1 brought a recipe for success. Day 2 told the importance of not looking back to avoid the following: 1) becoming ineffective, 2) being declared of being unfit, 3) receiving a curse.
If the 2015 success challenge has been accepted, it is now time to develop the roadmap to success.
Isaiah 43:19 reads ... Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make
a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Remember with each day a blessing and curse are set before us. Hence daily we choose the way, or path, that
sets the course of our day. Our choice is simple, we either follow the path of obedience by submitting our will
to God’s will or we follow the path of disobedience... by honoring the will of man.
Keep in mind our roadmap will not change, as a matter of fact we all have the same roadmap. What differs
between us is the point at which we begin our journey. Our wilderness environments may render uncommon
paths to a common way out. That common way out of the wilderness is through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
If we can agree that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; then our map simply involves documenting the
necessary steps to get to Jesus.
Finding the way, see Luke 11:9, 10 below:
v 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek,
and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
v 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh
findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
What are we asking? We are asking for a roadmap or path, see John 14:13, 14 below:
v 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
v 10 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
What are we seeking? We are seeking obedience to God / His righteousness, see Matthew 6:33, 34 below:
v 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
v 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow
shall take thought for the things of itself....
Why do we seek righteousness? So that our prayers may be heard, see 1Pet 3:12 below:
v 12 FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE OVER THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS
EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR PRAYERS: BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD
IS AGAINST THEM THAT DO EVIL.
Why do we need our prayers to be heard? We need our prayers heard for healing and forgiveness, see
James 5:16, 2 Chronicles 7:14 below:
v 16 ... The effectual (unceasing) fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.
v 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal their land.
Why do we need forgiveness? So that we remain in the presence of the Lord, see Psalm 51:10, 11 below:
v 10 Create in me a clean hear, O God; and renew a right spirit
within me.
v 11 Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy
spirit from me
Why must we remain in God’s presence? So that our paths can be directed, see Proverbs 3:5, 6
v 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto
thine own understanding
v 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths.
The steps to retrieve a roadmap to success begin with Jesus and end with God. However it is only through seeking
that Jesus is found, and it is only through Jesus, that God is accessed. We can only enter God’s presence with a
clean heart and our prayers will only be heard if we humbly, seek His face, after turning from wickedness.
How do we know this is the THE path of success? Because success begins and ends with God. we learn from Romans 8:31 ... If God be for us, who can be against us?? We learned from above God is for us, when we are righteous. Our reward is a blessing, a new thing, shall we not know it?
2015 Success Challenge Team...I’m encouraged today. I could continue writing but alas it’s time for me to execute... enjoy day 3 of the challenge.
This week’s series provides detail on how to dress for 2015 success.
Be blessed!
