Watching what you do-
What do little eyes see
When they look at you?
Do they see a person
Of whom they can be proud-
A person who’s the same at home
As when they’re in a crowd?
Or do they see a person
That no one would suspect-
A person for whom they have
No genuine respect?
Little eyes are watching-
Eyes that are bright and wide-
Eyes that are always taking in
The person that you hide.
Little eyes are watching
Everywhere you go
And you are responsible
For what they see you sow.
