Insecurity is the most disturbing thing in our life today, be it in job, family or relationships we fear losing or breaking up, and that eats up our comfort and leaves us tensed.
Our insecurity is limited by time and tenure, until when can I be supported?, will this last long or will it be short lived? what's next? etc.
If our day to day things of this mortal life could trouble us so much, do we ever care for the eternal insecurity?
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. "
John 5:24 (NKJV)
Is your eternity secure?
Don't you think that if we know that we will live in peace and solace for eternity, there is nothing better than that?
Jesus said that if we hear and believe in His Word we have eternal life.
The result is awesome- Eternal life, however what do we need to receive it? Hear and believe--in what?
We need to hear God's Word and believe in it, and God's Word is everything that God tells us, everything He wants to give us, everything He wants us to do.
The path is clear and the result is also made known, what we need to do is walk in it and receive it.
We should be so much thankful to God for Jesus Christ, for God has made Himself known to us through Christ and the assurance of His blessed presence with us always makes this part (journey on this earth) of our eternity be in perfect peace and solace.
