The victory of Israel over Jericho (Joshua Chapter 6) and their defeat before Ai is a clear message to them and to all of us that victory does not come by numbers and the strength of the arm, it comes from God alone.
"So about three thousand men went up there from the people, but they fled before the men of Ai." Joshua 7 :4 (NKJV)
Often in our life we venture to accomplish things without God's consent and presence and what awaits us is failure.
A a flower blossoms and spreads its awesome fragrance in its right time, God will make us blossom and make us a blessing if we humbly submit to His will and let Him accomplish things in our life.
Every day is a war and every moment we are either defeated or victorious, however let us commit our life and thoughts to God and let Him lead us and we shall surely see the difference, we shall surely experience the miracles.
How do we do that?
You can never seek any body's consent unless having communicated to him/her, thus communicate to God in genuine prayer, let Him know your desires, aspirations and fears and ask Him for a way out to blessedness.
After having prayed believe that you have just spoken to the most efficient and able person ever and trust His providence and guidance.
The only desire of the devil is to see us in the battlefield alone, struggling and being defeated, and he will not even come near us if God is with us, for God is able to deliver us from all our fears and defeat the devil every time in our life.
