When I go to Heaven

For I go to the place where tears are no more
Promise me this: don’t grieve for me
For I go to my Father
And I will be free
Take this time
To rejoice and to sing
For I’ll be more peaceful

My sorrows will cease
I’ll have perfect peace
When I go to that place
Where tears are no more
No more death, no more pain
For all these things will pass away
Perfect love forevermore
I’ll be with my Father in Heaven
