There is a God up in heaven
who loves me so
His son died for me on a cross
don’t you know
He gave his life for all my sins
and now each day a new life begins
He feeds me daily with his word
No better voice I have ever heard
I owe him all I have each day
He blesses me and leads the way
The sun in the morning and the
moon at night
The air that I breath is his delight
I will never hunger or thirst again
I will bring my sorrow and all my pains
I will lay my burdens down at his feet
And some day in heaven I long to meet
But in this life as I am passing through
He will lead the way and show me what to do
