Strangers

A stranger walks into a building unshaven with long hair.
Some people ignored him but most just stopped and stared.
Noone looks at the stranger as the music began to play.
Then everyone bowed there head as the preacher began to pray.
He spoke about the love of God and his grace for everyone.
And to be saved we need to get to know Gods son.
Then he said turn to your neighbor welcome them here.
But noone talked to the stranger so he left in tears.
Before he got to the door a child stopped the stranger with his smile.
He said Jesus why are you leaving after such a short while.
Jesus smiled at the boy and hugged him in glee.
I am just sad that in my house you’re the only one that knew me.
