I stated in my earlier writings that Job’s friends spoke from their fleshly minds and not their spiritual minds. Since this is a lesson of spiritual journey and awakening, I must correct myself in calling attention to their normal “minds.” Sizing up the situation that their friend found himself in, you and I must realize the truth behind their statements. They were blind-sided because they did not know or see the whole story or reason behind Job’s suffering. We have been allowed to see both sides of the suffering of Job. We see what happens in Heaven and what happens on earth. We have been blessed through the writer of Job to see both sides of the story. We get to hear the conversation God’s throne hearing what Satan says to God. Then we are blessed to see the earthly scenes and how Satanic attacks are played out in the lives of those who are “blameless and upright” through the eyes of the Lord. We get to get a complete view of what Job goes through and how he maintains his faith and integrity. Then we hear the response of the Lord concerning all that has happened in the life of Job and his friends. The whole truth becomes known through those who have gone through this “trial or suffering.
It should be known that as I journey through this study with you, I am learning just like you, and I make false assumptions too. Therefore, I am not too proud to say that I need to correct myself along the way. We are taking this journey together. You may have expected me to be an expert in the area of teaching Job. No. I am learning and sharing what I am learning as I dig for meaning for the reasons I am suffering so in these past five months. The Lord never told me that my learning experiences were for me alone. I was to share what I learned along the way with my fellow brothers and sisters.
