My child, I love you...
No matter what you say or do;
You can sin every day.
You can even hate Me too.
You don't have to do anything
To make Me love you more;
You don't have to go to church
Or give to the poor.
Neither will I love you less
If you don't do holy things;
My child, because of you,
My heart always sings.
I don't burn with anger
Or punish you when you sin;
I don't expect you to be perfect
In this fallen world you're in.
But, do I want you to live right?
Well, of course I do;
I want the best for My children.
Wouldn't you want that for yours too?
Whatever you do in life,
Whether you walk in love or not;
When you sin, I'll still love you
As though I forgot.
My love for you doesn't change.
It was, is, and will always be;
It isn't like human love.
It's perfect, you see.
I look at you, and smile.
My thoughts of you are so many;
You're My treasured creation.
A masterpiece unlike any.
My child, I love you...
No matter what you've said or done;
Please believe Me...
I love you as I do My Son.
