Encouragement
Well, saints of God, its praying time! Seems like the more you strive to do whats right, there's always something or somebody to bring you down! Whether its things of the world, or so called church people (yeah thats right I said it!), the devil doesn't care how it comes upon you, as long as it affects you! But then again, like I said in a previous blog, its not always the devil-but God test you also to see how you handle it! Sometimes (I'm speaking of me) I get sooooo fed up that I do things or say things that aren't right......should I be held accountable? YES, because I should pray and let God work things out for me instead of handling things myself! We, as saints, need to check ourselves before we say or do things. Is it a easy thing to do? Noooooo-but if we pray, He is able to help us! Will we fall short sometimes? Of course! Its when we realize what we've done, repent, and don't let it get to you (you're not perfect), and pray- thats when God can step in and do His work in you!! And yes you will probably do it again or something else may happen and you fall short again, but guess what? God is merciful, faithful, and just! He knows everything you are gonna go thru before you do-He's God and He knows we're not perfect! Have you heard the story about the potter and the clay in the bible? How the potter saw imperfections in the clay and had to break it apart, mold it, break it, shape it,etc. Thats how we are! The Potter (God) molds us until He sees His image in us! He might have to break us all the way down and rebuild us (help me Lord) but its all for His good and ours also if we want to be like Him! There is even a part that says the clay has to go thru the fire! And what that does is once the potter has the clay in the shape or object it is to be, it has to go thru fire to clean all marks (impurities) from the object for it to be brought. FIRE, saints!!!!! My God, just when we thought we were done being torn apart! My prayer all the time is that, His will be done- not mine. If thats what I have to go through, let it be! I have to make it, saints because I don't want to be lost without a hope! It may not be natural fire today that we have to go thru, but just anything to try you. We have to come forth- not as a rinky dink metal, but come forth as GOLD! Not a saint that has fallen prey to something and can't find a way out, but one that has fallen prey- may have gotten bruised....BUT God saw them thru it! Let us pray not only for ourselves, but for each other that God sees us thru and we all make it back when the Lord comes!!!
