“The Insulin within”
God Bless you Dear Friend,
“The Insulin within”
As you may know, insulin is a hormone within our body, which regulates the glucose in our blood. If you may have too little of this hormone in your body, you could be insulin dependent and if you have too much rather it’s means that your body is insulin resistance. Meaning that our body is producing a lot more insulin than what we need but it is not effective to break down the blood sugar into glucose. Well, about two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and amongst other things, I had to face it to able to move forward with it.
How amazing God’s work if you think about it, that our body designed by Him and nobody else of course, for example just to produce enough insulin what we need, instead of having too little or too much. I was puzzled with the news when I received it. So many thoughts went through my mind. Why me? I asked. But than again the more I prayed about it, the more wisdom was revealed to me.
“The Insulin within”
God would have never laid this on me unless He Knows that I will be able to handle it. And if this is not from God, than I will have to seek Him for His Divine Healing. Therefore with this settled mindset, I have taken everything on the cheeks and moved on. Minor medication. Exercise. Diet (ouch!). One day at the time.
(If you ever want to see an unhappy Hungarian, tell him to stop eating white bread and salami..ha-ha.)
Praise God for my wonderful and supporting family, for my Wife firstly and for my children, whom have decided to join me in this diet so I don’t have to do it alone. And with all these processes, eventually I changed my way of asking the very same question from “Why Me?” has become “Why not Me?”.
On the deeper side of things, while all these things are happening, one thing has confirmed it’s self again. My Master had the biggest pain on the cross of Calvary for you and me. He Is my Insulin what I need and what I will ever going to need.
Psalm 23 just makes so much more sense now….
“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” (NLT)
God Bless you and thank you to read my little story to tell.
George.
