Time has a way of easing life's griefs. All our throes retreat into its abyss, settling as dregs to the bottom of the pit. Out of this void flow saline streams of soothing liquid that wash away the stresses that inject bitter venom into our emotional bloodstream. Spiritual toxins are flushed away, making room for the influx of nutrients that repair the breeches brought about by the enemy's blustering blows.
Frequently confused with woe, jubilant eruptions often mimic outpourings of anguish when in reality they are crystalline seeds yielding crops of energizing exhilaration. They are the rain that irrigates the roots of restoration—the balm that heals the wounds of battles waged on the fields of fettered flesh. They are the lotion that infuses worn emotions with renewed vigor. Tears are not a sign of weakness; they are nature's baptism, burying the corpse of lamentation in a sea of sweet release.
