Ready, Set ,…. “Yeah, Right!”
Ready, Set, I have to Write! Write! Write!
I have no time to Rest! Rest! Rest!
I have to do my Best! Best! Best!
I have to BE the Best! Best! Best!
I have no time to Rest! Rest! Rest!
Deadlines, Deadlines, lots of Deadlines!
Pressing! Pressing!
There’s no time for Resting! Resting!
“Sure, I need a little shut eye!”
Sleep must wait and I must strive!
Thou shall not kill these scribbled lines!
Pressing! Pressing! Keep on pressing!
There’s no time for Resting! Resting!
Driving. Driving. Who is driving?
Striving, Striving, Screech to Stop!
Words, Words. Where’s the flow?
Words, Words. Where’d you go?
Ecclesiastes 10:4b Calmness can lay great errors to rest.
Matthew 10:18-20 On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say for it will not be you speaking but the spirit of your Father speaking through you.
