Very often something itches at the back of the mind. Yearning for peace which eludes us. Why?
The trouble is with the desires of the modern society. The very meaning of life has turned out to be a struggle to accumilate more and more. There are people who expect others to provide for them in every way possible but themselves will not lift a tiny finger to return or lend a helping hand. Some people see others as machines that produce money for them.
Thats where we can look to our pets. Just take the example of a pet dog. See how loyal and faithful it is towards its master. What it exhibits is unconditional love. They are always reliable and can be depended upon even by a blind person! This is what we should try to inculcate in our characters. We have a duty towards ourselves and towards our Creator. Lets not shun ourselves from the purity of the Truth and be caught in the web of this dark, degenerating world of greed and selfishness.
So what should be done? The change must come from within. The change should happen in our minds. We can always learn from our pets!
