When the clouds turn gray
When the sky weeps
While lightening treks across the sky
And the thunder growls across the land
I look out the window and watch
As the water slides down the pane
And for a short time I am caught in time
As I watch my eyes wondrously see
The water running at different angles
Creating a picture for me to view
What joy my heart feels
As I think of God and the beauty that he brings
In the mist of a storm.
