We have all been bombarded with some extremity of peer pressure throughout our lives. The peer pressure that seems to hold the largest negative affect on us is the unsurrendered soul which holds all our baggage from past pains and failures. We experience the effects of this pressure when we begin to receive blessings from the Holy Spirit. The eternal battle that ultimately goes on between the soul and spirit will cause this pressure to recede into submitting to negative behaviors such as fear, doubt, jealousy, envy, unworthiness, and incapability. We find it so much easier to recoil into our box of isolation, not allowing ourselves to grow spiritually. This in effect causes our relationship with God to become dormant and unproductive. Your soul welcomes unrighteous peer pressures because they are easy to grasp onto and really require nothing more than submission. Your spirit meanwhile lacks the God annointed purpose it was predestined for and will ultimately accept your "free-will" decision to live amongst the world and its materialistic selfishness. In order for you to loose "break" the bondage that peer pressure has on you, it requires nothing more than the realization that you need Jesus as your role-model and not some cosmetically touched up unrealistic expectation inorder to be accepted. Remember God is your biggest peer and nothing else compares to this.
