Psalm 37:7 starts out “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him”
We are to depend on God and His perfect timing.
How does it feel to know He’s there?
Acts 2:28 says “you have made known to me the ways of life; you will make me full of joy in your presence.”
It feels good to know Jesus is there because of His peace and joy.
Can we believe in something we cannot see?
James 2:19 stats “You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!”
We need to walk by faith knowing one day we will see Jesus.
Is it possible to know someone you have never touched?
I John 2:3 says “:Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.”
If we have accepted Christ as Savior then we have met Him and we can know Him more each day if we obey his commands.
Why would you serve God when you can serve yourself?
Deuteronomy 10:12 says …”what does the Lord your God require of you,…to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”
God gave His only Son so we may be free from the grip of sin. We should serve Him with a thankful heart.
If you could choose between a life of health and wealth or five minutes with Jesus face to face what would you choose?
Proverbs 11:4 stats “Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.”
You are not truly living life without Jesus.
When would you turn to Jesus if your life was always perfect?
Ecclesiastes 7:20 says “For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin.”
We have all fallen short of God’s standard and we need his grace.
Could you give up your own life to save another’s life?
Romans 5:10 stats…”we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”
Jesus gave His life that we may have eternal life.
