What I hope for is a life without regret
Because I left work undone
Or challenges left unmet.
I hope to make the world a better place
To leave my mark and legacy behind
My writings on the wall for my grandchildren.
I hope for someone to love
To hold dear without remorse
To be held in love gently sown yet with strength.
My hope is for a life filled with peace
Where all live in harmony with one another
To wipe away the tears of hurting family and friends.
What I hope for is memories and dreams
To treasure and share with those around me
Those who come first in my heart.
I hope for is one small candle to show the way
For a kind word to help someone today
To reach out to others and show them I care.
