The minister, whom I preferred to call Brother Paul, and his team held many conventions and camp meetings worldwide because they believed in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary and the power of His resurrection.

He said he is not afraid of what the enemy would try to do because he knows Christ is with him and has risen triumphantly from the grave, confirming His victory over death and the grave, strengthening his faith in Him.

When interviewed about his mission to preach and pray for the sick, the question was asked, "What is the secret of the confidence displayed in your mission?"

The minister said his confidence rests in Calvary's finished work, which brings reassurance and trust in God's promise that Jesus paid the debt for our sins and healing.

Christ is the gospel, the good news of salvation. His resurrection from the dead continues to affirm that because He lives, we live also.

Therefore, we are a new creation, walking in newness of life, and as we walk and talk with Him in our journey here on earth, He tells us to rest, for the work He came on earth to do is completed. Every prophecy fulfilled. Every requirement is met, and the price of our redemption has been paid.

And one day He will quicken our mortal bodies to live with Him eternally. There will be no more sorrow, no pain, but peace and love for evermore.
