I know I’m fully in God’s care.
I don’t have hope to no avail.
God’s promises will never fail.
I need not worry when I pray,
For God hears every word I say.
I don’t know what the future holds.
I’m waiting while His plan unfolds.
I have no earthbound loyalty.
I’ll live with heaven’s royalty.
For sins, I have no condemnation
His blood provided my salvation.
When I am tired, weak, and worn,
He strengthens me at each new morn.
When guidance for His law, I need,
His Word’s the counsel I must heed.
When I have fear that no one’s here,
I feel His presence, near and dear.
When there’s a choice I need to make,
His Spirit shows which path to take.
My life is not dependent on
A single victory I’ve won.
I’m resting in the finished work
That Christ, my risen Lord, has done.
