It brings me joy to hear.
He’s grace and power and majesty,
I’ve peace to know He’s near.
I read the story in the Word
Of how God sent His Son
To die for all who’d trust in Him.
I’m glad that I was one.
He drew me with His love for me
And in His mercy saved me.
When I confessed my sins to Hm,
A new heart Jesus gave me.
He promised He would always be
Beside me every day,
And I would have no fear that He
Would ever go away.
He sent His Holy Spirit, too,
To lead me in the way
That I should walk by faith in Him,
And never from Him stray.
A Christian, I must love God first,
Then love to others show.
If I, in life, His love reveal,
That’s how the world will know.
Because He died and rose again,
My hope of heaven’s true.
I pray my testimony will
Bring others to Him, too.
