Of snow on the roof
A proof
That God’s creation isn’t rusting
But our values start rusting
If we stop trusting
In God
Our faith a mere dusting
On the world
But if
We blow off the dust
On our Bibles
It is so reliable
We need it today
In order to slay
The doubts
The fears
The attacks
The wracks
Of pain
Will we ever gain
The upper hand?
Oh we must stand!
We dust off the swords
Take down the boards
Around the war room
It’s time to blow off the dust
Take hold of your trust
In God
It’s time to prod
Ourselves to action!
Dusting
Entrusting
No longer rusting
Away
Dust
Must
Go!
Trust in the Lord
With all your heart (Prov 3:5 NIV)
That verse needs to be a part
Of your day
Don’t let doubt hold sway
On your life
So don’t let faith be a mere dusting
On your life
And always keep trusting
In God

Thank you for reminding me this week that we can always trust God in every situation and be faithful to Him.
