I tried so hard to stay the course
To close my race in victory
But now as I approach the end
I’m void of the strength to finish.
The darkness is complete
The chords of death are near
My faith is beyond weak
I am nothing
I am no one
I am done
There were better and brighter days
When conquering the mountain tops
Sun and light was the life I breathed
How quickly euphoria dies

I have finished the race for you
My sacrifice your victory

My Spirit your strength to finish
