This introduction might sound a little scientific, but I’m sure you would already be familiar with traces of her effects on our language.
Her skill with words has a strange twist, for consistent spelling is not one of her strengths. Her search often gets confused, as she starts to find new words emerging from inside those that have caught her attention. I guess this helps to expand her vocabulary, but it can be hard to follow.
When this confusion hits, she becomes quite quiet, and she may later alter her opinion of which words she was searching for, but in her emotional range, anger is furthest from her mind…
No opening for new words is off limits for her, for as a chaser, she will search arches, doorways, or tunnels, seeking the slightest trace of what may cater to her quest. And if the search makes her thirsty, she will settle for a large, regal-sized lager.
Anyone who tries to parse her grammar may be tempted to toss a spare spear in her direction – even though rage reaps no rewards.
So now, if you haven’t noticed the sixteen clues to her identity in those last three paragraphs, let me introduce my good friend – and your general acquaintance...
(Pause for drum roll…)
